Our Story

If you’re new here and haven’t heard of us before, we’re a family run business based in Kirkcudbright. Our company was founded from a passion for fishing and the local community. West Coast Sea Products has come a long way since it began in 1964, but our values have stayed the same.

Today, alongside the wholesale scallop business, we sell a range of UK produce to the local community in Dumfries & Galloway, and Edinburgh, where our retail fishmonger service began. All the seafood comes from our own fleet, local fishermen, or small businesses around Scotland. Our aim is to sell high quality produce at a fair/affordable price. Find the likes of local scallops, lobster, razor clams, smoked fish, Scottish oysters, mussels, langoustines, a huge range of white fish, and much more.

Edinburgh Markets

We’re at Leith Market every Saturday 10am-4pm offering a wide selection of native seafood, as well as homemade ready-to-heat options such as fish pie, fish chowder, fish cakes or crab mac and cheese!
