King Scallop meat will retain their fresh taste and smell for 3-4 days although we recommend eating within the first 2 days for ultimate flavour. They also freeze very well and retain their quality when thawed out slowly.
The price of roe off scallops is higher than roe on due to the increased process of removing the roe and having higher proportion of white meat.
King Scallops make an excellent main dish. We recommend 5-6 scallops for a main course and 2-3 scallops for a starter. You can find recipes on our page.
